Castle Industries Inc. of California requires all
suppliers to comply with Section 1502
of the “Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer
Protection Act” which identifies certain “Conflict
Minerals”. To comply with these new legal
requirements, Castle Industries Inc. of California
must obtain accurate information from our
other suppliers about whether raw materials, components
or other parts (“Goods”) in our products contain
these Conflict Minerals (currently limited to tungsten,
tin, tantalum, gold and their derivatives). If any
Conflict Minerals are present in our products, we must
trace them to their source to determine whether or not
they are “DRC conflict free” and report our findings.
Suppliers who provide metals containing any conflict
minerals must provide a written proof stating compliance
to the Dodd-Frank Act referenced above.
