M.C. Gill Corporation announces their new multi-opening press for manufacturing advanced composite sandwich panels and laminates is fully operational.

M.C. Gill Corporation announces their new multi-opening press for manufacturing advanced composite sandwich panels and laminates is fully operational. The equipment is part of a large capital investment program at their El Monte facilities.
The press was purchased in November 2007. Installation began in April 2008 and was completed in late July 2008. The multi-opening press will accommodate a nominal panel size of 5’ x 12’ with either side or end loading.
Director of Engineering, Greg Zeronian, oversaw the installation and comments “the addition of this new press will allow us to meet the growing demand from customers throughout a variety of industries. M.C. Gill Corporation has experienced unprecedented growth during the last four years and this is part of an aggressive plan to meet that demand”.
