M.C. Gill and Alcore Sales and Marketing Attend International SAMPE Show

El Monte, California – The Sales and Marketing staff from M.C. Gill Corporation and Alcore, a subsidiary of M.C. Gill Corporation, traveled to Baltimore, Maryland, to attend the 52nd International Society of Advancement for Material and Process Engineering Symposium and Exhibition.
The seven-day event featured a variety of guest-speaker experts on the subjects of material science, composites, process engineering and new advances in the field. Concurrently, key manufacturers conducted a trade show that attracted visitors interested in learning more about the industry. This event was an opportunity to network with colleagues and study emerging technologies. Matt Lowry, Director of Research and Development explains
“SAMPE is our industry's premier trade show and conference. In one setting we can interact with both customers and also suppliers, attend technical papers that are presented by competitors, customers and suppliers, and be introduced to the latest technologies in materials and processes related to the composites industry. The exposure this gave us is valuable in both measurable and immeasurable ways. Leads and contacts gathered during the week can be assessed and followed in a measurable way; technical insights and ideas that are generated will be used in our research and development activities. Networking, building and nurturing long-standing relationships and market intelligence gathering are more difficult to measure, but no less valuable. While many on the floor were asking, ‘where is company X or company Y this year’, M.C. Gill Corporation was making a statement that ‘we are here!”
