M.C. Gill Corporation Recognized by California State Assembly for Support of Historic Savannah Cemetery

Members of the San Gabriel Valley community, and leaders from the City’s of El Monte and Rosemead gathered at the Savannah Memorial Park for a program honoring the dedication of individuals, civic groups and M.C. Gill Corporation. Savannah Memorial Park, founded in 1850, is the resting place of many of the original pioneers of the San Gabriel Valley.
The program featured speakers, a Memorial Day salute and musical accompaniment. Mike Eng, Assemblyman representing the 49th Assembly District, praised those being honored for their service to our country and dedication to the local community. At the conclusion of the ceremony Mr. Eng presented M.C. Gill Corporation with a certificate of recognition from the California State Assembly in support of their community activism.
Stephen Gill, Chairman and CEO of M.C. Gill Corporation, has been a staunch supporter of the historic cemetery through financial gifts to ensure the ongoing maintenance of the property located on Valley Boulevard in Rosemead, California.
