Additionally, there is a vast library of N.C. programmes, templates, jigs, tooling and details, providing unequalled support for all BAe Systems regional aircraft.

Composite Detailing

Highly experienced AlphaCam CAD/CAM programmers and CNC operators provide the full range of work-to-file/disk/print/sample capabilities and the precision cutting and detailing of a wide range of composite materials on vacuum-bed CNC routing equipment. This allows all Gillfab™, Gilliner™ and Gillfloor™ panels to be supplied cut-to-size, profiled, drilled and detailed so they are ready for use.

Floor Panels

Finished floor panels can be supplied ready-to-fit, including:

• Panel edge and core fillings.
• Potted or mechanically fitted inserts and ferrules.
• Bolt/rivet-on hardware, aluminium details and self-adhesive elastomers.
• Non-slip paint, vinyl covering or other decorative finishes.
• BAe-appointed sole supplier of 748/ATP, 146/RJ and Jetstream 31/32/41 floor panels.

Furnishings

Complex assemblies can be manufactured using cut-and-fold fabrication techniques with drawing development, tool design and jig manufacture carried out in-house reducing lead-times and providing customers direct access to the product source.

Insulation

Fully tailored insulation bags are manufactured to drawings, from on-site measurement or even from returned bags. Approved foams, fibres and felts are enclosed in a range of bagging films and materials and seamed using adhesive, tape, heat-seals and stitching.

Insolcoustic™ custom-quilted insulation, certified to JAR25.853 can be supplied in roll form or cut and edge-sealed in a variety of densities and stitch patterns. Insulation programmes include:
